Basuki Explained About His Absence in Meeting with DPD

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama is preparing memorandum of understanding (MoU) with 3 provinces and Agriculture Ministry for beef security. It is also the cause of Ahok not attending regional coordination meeting (Rakorda) with The Jakarta Representatives Council (DPD), last Thursday (11/12).

Basuki to Sign MoU Regarding Meat Security Today
According to him, although he did not attend he has delegated the meeting to City Secretary Saefullah and a number of Regional Working Unit (SKPD)s. Including Water Management, Cleanliness, Housing and Government's Building Departments and mayor.
"There have been some SKPDs, Public Works Ministry, and City Secretary. Why should I attend there too?," he disclosed.
He then told The Regional Representatives Council (DPD) to understand about the situation. "I did impossibly insult the council, if I did that, I wouldn't have sent the delegation," he expressed.
Previously, one of the council expressed their disappointment towards the governor through their twitter account about Basuki's absence.
