Hundreds of PKL Selling Along Cengkareng Drain Inspection Road

Hundreds of street vendors are opening stalls along Inspection Road of Cengkareng Drain River, Kembangan Utara, West Jakarta. Consequently, it causes traffic congestion until Jalan Daan Mogot.

The market's chairman will be summoned to do supervision first towards the street vendors

Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, the stalls near Kemiri Market look slum and dirty. The motorists also have to queue and be patient when passing around the location.

Responding on this matter, Head of Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Saumun said in near future, his side to observe and coordinate with the market's chairman.

"The market's chairman will be summoned to do supervision first towards the street vendors," he told when he was contacted, Friday (11/13).

According to him, his side will not hold controlling if the supervision is effective. So for now, the arrangement and supervision steps will be taken as the controlling process needs to be reviewed.

"I did observation there a couple of times ago. For now is supervision, if they still sell along the location, we'll hold the controlling," he explained.
