Portable Pump Alerted in Kampung Pulo

“Rain brings more trash so that’s why we have to send heavy equipment to remove it. There’s no choice,” said Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama, Jakarta Governor when led Executive Meeting at City Hall, Monday (11/16).

Regional Working Units (SKPD) demanded to keep coordinating in operating the equipment. “There must be related coordination in each SKPD,” he expressed.

By doing so, Ahok hopes puddle and flood can be minimized. It is because the evaluation report from a number of locations revealed puddle triggered by trash which clog water channel. Trash often stuck at water filter,” he uttered.

Ahok continued, the importance of portable pump also required to be alerted at lower area. “Mayor should monitor, flood won’t recede if there is no water pump, just please use portable pump well,” he disclosed.
