E-Natura Card Can Be Used in Grocery Stalls

Starting this year, Jakarta Provincial Government will distribute aid to disaster victims via E-Natura card.

We involve stalls near disaster sites

Head of Handling and Informatics Division, Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Bambang Surya Putra said that aid distribution via E-Natura for disaster victims is aimed to avoid deviations action.

"The aid like this had ever tested when a fire hit Senen Market last May," he told, Tuesday (11/17).

Basuki Uses E-Natura Card to Help Disaster Victims

Using the card, the user cannot use it in any place, but in grocery stalls that have the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) facility.

"We involve stalls near disaster sites. They were chosen by local headmen," he reported.

Those stalls, he furthered, will provide basic goods, ranging from food, gas cylinders, clothing and hygiene kits. Products sold in each stall are set in accordance with the victim needs.

"The card cannot be used buying cigarette. Goods sold in each stall are different," he furthered.

Bambang added that the BPBD is currently mapping flood-prone areas in the capital, including preparing logistics distribution along with Social Dept via E-Natura containing electronic money worth between Rp 700-Rp 900 thousand per household.
