Monas' Management Asked to Provide LPS

The unavailability waste disposal location (LPS) in Monas area, Central Jakarta, makes the trash transporting often hampered. Hence, Central Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department asks the management to provide the location immediately.

Head of Central Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Marsigit stated that trashes collected by Monas officers everyday are only piled up at Monas's southside entrance. Consequently, the trashes are scattered making the area looks dirty.

"I hope the management to provide LPS so that the trash will not be scattered everywhere. It makes officers have to work twice," he hoped, Thursday (11/19).

Grasses in Monas Area Re-planted

With LPS, he continued, the trash transporting conducted would be faster and more effective. " For Monas area, the trash transported could be up to 2 trucks. So, there should be LPS," he stated.
