East Jakarta Optimistic to Be MTQ Overall Champion

East Jakarta Administration is optimistic to get overall champion in Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) competition 2015 of Jakarta level which is held in Pondok Gede Hajj Dormitory, East Jakarta, early December.

East Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Husen Murad said that as the host, East Jakarta contingent should be motivated to get the champion that could represent Jakarta to national level.

"East Jakarta  to be the host of MTQ 2015. We're surely optimistic would be the champion," he said after opening the competition in Multipurpose Room Block C Building of East Jakarta Mayor Office, Thursday (11/19).

Basuki Is Optimistic Puddle Can Recede Rapidly

He told, in the competition participants do not only memorize Al Quran but the important is how to apply the dogma in daily life.

The Event Committee Head as well as Head of East Jakarta Mental Education Division, Aceng Zaini added that the event is participated by 132 participants.

"There are 13 judges involved in the competition. They are the experts of qiraat, Al Quran song, permusabaqohan (Al Quran recital)," he explained.

The first winner eventually will get award charter and guidance money. The money given is amounted Rp 2,5 million. As for the second winner get Rp 2 million and the third winner get Rp 1,5 million. And for the overall winner get a rotating trophy.
