Sabira Island Residents Extremely Needs Signal Booster

Sabira Islands residents requesting Base Transceiver Station (BTS). It is because communication and internet network in the island is very lacking.

Daeng Ali, one of local residents deplored that until now the realization of tower station construction has yet happened, though they have granted their land for tower station.

“We’re having communication problem here. Don’t let us be a dull citizen due to cannot access any information,” he said on the sidelines of discussing with Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo, Friday (11/20).

Responding to residents’ complaint, Budi Utomo, Seribu Islands Regency stated since tender process that was conducted by Jakarta Dept. of Communication Informatics and Public Relation (Diskominfomas) failed, presently he is coordinating with Diskominfomas to find another solution.

“I expect to the Dept Head to find temporary solution to running phone signal booster keep running in Sabira Island. Concerning this island is the outer island,” he expressed.

From security perspective, communication is quite important. Moreover for civil servants service. “In case of disaster happened, rapid rescue must be informed to Regency,” he closed.
