Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama once again highlighted the policy of 2016 City Budget (APBD)'s priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA-PPAS). This time, it is addressed to Bina Marga Department.

Ahok ensured unprofessional contractor will not be hired anymore. Because, all this time, its existence had hampered city development. Besides, the policy can also eliminate cheating action among officials over budget.
“No more tolerance and mercy for unprofessional contractor. All projects in Jakarta should run properly,” he asserted, at City Hall, Saturday (11/21).
According to him, the way to eliminate such contractor is by combining small project. Thus there will be a great value which can attract great contractors joining in tender.
“I don't want small companies, they are broker you know,” he stressed.
Aside that, he also does want projects with direct appointment (PL), except if the goods and services procurement already exist in the e-catalog.
