Some Waivers Given to Tax Arrears

Taxpayers living in Central Jakarta are appealed to immediately pay off Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2). Considering, the city administration keeps providing easiness.

Especially for those who have economic problem, are allowed to pay tax by installments until the end of December

Muhammad Aried Susilo, Head of Central Jakarta Tax Service Sub-Dept revealed the tax payment deadline itself was been extended until at the end of next December.

PBB-P2 Taxpayer Allowed to Pay Tax by Installments

Especially for those who have economic problem, are allowed to pay tax by installments until the end of December,” he uttered, Monday (11/23).

He also prepared administration sanction in accordance with Law No.19/2000 on Tax Charging through forced letter. The law mentions, the actor belongings will be confiscated and be auctioned for tax repayment.

“There is no sanction for tax repayment this year that falls until December 31,” he told.

Aside that, he added, tax arrears until 2009 will be given 50 percent payment without sanction. And for 2010-2012, we give 25 percent of tax relief.

“We already give easiness, including tax service hour until night,” he uttered.
