As reported earlier, the budget proposed for Jakarta Communication Informatics and Public Relation Dept touched Rp 197 billion. But it was cut into Rp 150 billion after being reviewed by Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama.

Head of Jakarta Communication Informatics and Public Relation Dept, Ii Karunia stated that his dept proposed Rp 197 billion, and was been cut twice. "First cut is Rp 157 billion and final cut reached Rp 150 billion," he stated, at City Hall, Tuesday (11/24).
He furthered it was not only cut at department level but also sub-department level, which was almost Rp 1 billion.
Budget Evaluation for the Sake of Citizens InterestSome activities were deducted, such as news clipping and internet bandwidth lease. Starting next year, it would be centralized at department level.
“The current clipping is at province level, instead of sub-department. And now, all sub-departments focused on province, likewise with unimportant goods procurement,” he finished.
