Jl Tubagus Angke Inundated

Road along Jalan Tubagus Angke towards Jalan Daan Mogot, West Jakarta was inundated. It was up to 5-10 cm due to the overflowing Tubagus Angke River, Grogol Petamburan Wednesday noon (11/25). 

The puddle was not caused by the local rain yet floodwater from Bogor through the river which overflows

Because of that, some riders have to be extra careful and slowing their vehicles speed when passing the road. 

Head of West Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Pahala Tua said that his side has known about the puddle. "We have coordinated with the department side to accelerate excavation project of connecting channel (PHB) on the west flow for anticipating the overflowing," he stated, Wednesday (11/25). 

River Overflowed, Bukit Duri Still Inundated Until Now

He told, his side will maximize water pump in Tubagus Angke Station Pump to vacuum the puddle. 

"The puddle was not caused by the local rain yet floodwater from Bogor through the river which overflows," he explained.
