Starting this Friday (11/27), an u-turn of Jalan RM Margono Djojohadikusumo, Tanah Abang, will be closed. The road closure is done, because it often leads to traffic jam due to narrow rounds distance.

Deputy Head of Central Jakarat Mayor, Arifin disclosed, the u-turn that precisely located in front of Shangri-La Hotel is crowded by heavy vehicles, like truck. As for the rounds wide, does not insufficient. Therefore, vehicles will be directed to Jalan Dukuh Bawah.

Similar policy would also be applied to another ring-shaped, Jalan Mas Mansyur-Jalan Pejompongan. The whole vehicle heading to Pejompongan or Karet Bivak must pass the flyover.

"There is a rail-crossing door, where will be closed per five minutes. Considering, vehicle volume towards Jalan Pejompongan is crowded," he expressed.
