Preventing Criminality, JPO in East Jakarta Installed with Lights

The pedestrian bridge (JPO) in East Jakarta will be installed with lamps to avoid crime.

I commanded all urban village heads to report which JPO needs more light

Husein Murad, East Jakarta Vice Mayor, said the bridge must be brightened to give user's comfort and avoid crime which was happened in Pasar Rebo and Lebak Bulus JPO.

"I commanded all urban village heads to report which JPO needs more light. Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy will respond it," he said, Thursday (11/26).

Meanwhile, Nurhidayat, East Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy, admitted that JPO in Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan was dark. It is because the electricity was not connected to the panel yet. But last night, it is already bright.

There are 80 lamps installed on JPO Pulomas and 77 on JPO Asmi. Each installation point has two 18 watts LED lamps.
