Basuki Lends Office Boat to Seribu Islands Regent

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Purnama will lend his office boat for operational of Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo. It is because budget for operational boat rental of the regent has been cut.

The regent has to rent boat to go everywhere. And the budget is up to Rp 11 million for once going, it's terrible

In budget proposal, the rental budget is proposed amounted to Rp 11 million for once going. It is considered too much and waste.

"The regent has to rent boat to go everywhere. And the budget is up to Rp 11 million for once going, it's terrible," said Ahok at City Hall, Friday (11/27).

Basuki Issued Ingub on Flood Handling and Alert

According to him, previously Budi did cut the rental budget by himself. But it is still considered too much.

"He (the regent) did cut the budget but it's still too much. So i offered him to use my boat," he disclosed.

So that the budget, he continued, could be used for other useful activities. Ahok wants to divert the budget swept for flat construction. Since there are some of them have not gotten budget allocation.
