Monday, 70 Buildings in Cempaka Putih Timur Demolished

As many as 70 illegal buildings along Jalan Rawasari Selatan 1 and Jalan Rawasari Timur Dalam 1, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Central Jakarta will be demolished, next Monday (11/30). Currently, all of the building owners have been given demolishment warrant.

The demolishment is conducted because the owners built  the building on social/public facilities

Based on Beritajakarta.com's observation, some of the owner have visibly dismantled their building. While the rest were moving their property out of the location.

"The demolishment is conducted because the owners built  the building on social/public facilities," said Cempaka Putih Sub-District Deputy Head, Bernard Tambunan, Friday (11/27).

Illegal Buildings on Baru Riverbank Rampant

After being demolished, he uttered, his side hopes related institute could acquire the 250-m land on the road, so that eventually it could be connected to Jalan Ahmad Yani.

"We hope the land to be acquired, if it is already active, trucks of cleanliness and fire handling sub-departments could be easy to reach Jalan Ahmad Yani," he hoped.
