Kampung Pulo is Safe from Flood If Normalization Project Finished

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana acknowledged that Kampung Pulo area, Kampung Melayu, East Jakarta will be free from flood in the mid January 2016.

To accelerate normalization project, the Ciliwung-Cisadane Flood Control Office (BBWSCC) keeps intensifying the sheet pile installation. The target itself is targeted to be finished in mid January 2016.

Apart from that, Flood remains occurred in Kampung Pulo at RW 02 and 03, Kampung Melayu Urban Village.

“Water flowing from unfinished sheet pile construction,” he uttered, Tuesday (12/1).

Furthermore, his side has anticipated bigger flood by alerting pump machine in the area.

“We’ve prepared pump machine . There are 4 machines from BBWSCC and Water Management Department,” he asserted.
