Zero Dengue Fever Case, Makasar Sub-District Got Green Placard

Since successfully minimizing Dengue Fever (DBD) spread until zero point throughout 2015, Makasar Sub-District, East Jakarta, got green placard from East Jakarta Health Sub-Department.

East Jakarta Secretary, Junaidi hopes the achievement could be followed by other areas thus East Jakarta would be free from the disease.

"Our target is, DBD case in East Jakarta in 10 sub-districts is on zero point," he said after handing in the placard to Makasar Sub-District Deputy Head, Tri Saptanti in the Mayor Office, Wednesday (12/2).

To reach the target, he continued, the implementation of anti-mosquitoes campaign (PSN) every Friday should keep being intensified.

Makasar Sub-District Deputy Head, Tri Saptanti added that the award was because of residents hard work and the wigglers hunter who were excited to intensify it.

"Sometimes PSN is conducted twice in a week to prevent DBD case," she added.
