Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat is optimistic that Head of Water Management Department, Teguh Hendrawan can carry out his duties well. This is because, previously, some department heads in Jakarta also did not come from the ranks of the department replaced.

"They have good performance. If they are qualified, why not," he exclaimed, at City Hall, Thursday (12/3).

He furthered, when he promoted as Head of Jakarta Housing and Government Buildings Department, Ika did not understand the construction and other housing materials. Because of focus and work hard, her performance is pretty good.

"So it's not unusual, except for the work needs specialization, for instance doctor. But for manager, why not," he expressed.

Djarot added, similar experience had been applied when he served as Mayor of Blitar. At that time, he was replacing Head of Public Works Department and Cleanliness Department with official from outside, and the result is pretty good.
