On national holiday today, Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers of Penggilingan Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta are cleaning channel along 100 meters in RW 14.

Penggilingan Urban Village Head, Usdiyati stated that the channel is cleaned since it was overflowing when raining due to clogged by trash and sediment.

"We're focusing on cleaning water channel in RW 14. Because it's often overflowing during rainy season," she stated, Wednesday (12/9).

She predicted the cleaning will take 2 days, since the 35 officers deployed are doing it manually using sober tools such as hoe, shovel, and broom sticks.
