The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), prepared parking spaces around the venue for the peak night event of Jakarta's 498th anniversary at Banteng Field Park, Central Jakarta on Sunday (6/22).

According to Dishub data, there are thousands of parking spaces for cars and motorbikes available at nine strategic locations, in both on-street and off-street parking formats.

There are also alternative parking spaces such as at Pasar Baru Post Office (120 cars, 100 motorbikes), Istiqlal Mosque (100 cars, 25 motorbikes), Cathedral Church (50 cars, 75 motorbikes), Ministry of Religious Office (459 cars, 350 motorbikes), and Pertamina Headquarters (584 cars, 930 motorbikes). The distance from these points is about a 1-3 minute walk to the event location.
"Visitors must use the official parking locations provided and follow the officers' directions on site for mutual comfort and safety," expressed Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo, Saturday (6/21).
In addition, parking spaces are also available in the area of Ministry of Finance Office (60 cars, 200 motorbikes) and Hotel Borobudur (192 cars, 54 motorbikes), which is a 2-minute walk from Lapangan Banteng.
"Hopefully, visitors can enjoy the peak night of Jakarta's anniversary celebration safely, comfortably, and orderly," he hoped.
As known, the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Parekraf) will hold the peak night celebration of Jakarta's anniversary on Sunday (6/22) at Banteng Field Park, Central Jakarta.
The event titled 'Jakarta Global and Cultural City' is free for public and will start from 4 PM until it concludes.
The peak night of this year's celebration is designed to be festive, inclusive, and to present a variety of entertainment for all residents.
There will be top musicians who will enliven the event, including Diskoria, JKT48, Juicy Luicy, Wali, Andien, Adikara, Sandy Sandoro, Mirabeth Sonia, Olivia Pardede, and Keroncong Toegoe group.
