An handphone owned by Petogogan Urban Village Head, Sarwanto was stolen when he observed trees along Jalan Nipah XII, precisely behind South Jakarta Mayor office. The thief was a motorist.

Sarwanto told the chronology began when he was back from meeting in the mayor office, Tuesday noon (12/8). Since his area has so many messy trees and parasite, he took a picture using his handphone. But suddenly there was a motorist with high speed stole it.

"The picture was planned to be given to Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers to be followed up immediately," he expressed, Thursday (12/10).

According to him, he was surprised then screamed and chased the thief assisted by the locals .

"T hen I successfully caught the thief on the junction. He was about to be beaten by the locals but I secured and brought him to Kebayoran Baru Police Station ," he explained.

The handphone was supposed to be an evidence for police. Since he has no another phone and need it to supervise area then it is borrowed temporarily.

"Today, I'm borrowing phone temporarily to monitor the area. I'll be summoned again by police at 1 PM," he closed.
