Construction of Pulo Gundul RPTRA Begins

The construction of Pulo Gundul Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Jalan Kramat Pulo Gundul, Tanah Tinggi, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, inaugurated, Sunday (12/13). 

Thanks to residents who have supported the park construction, it can eventually be used for all residents

Deputy Mayor of Central Jakarta, Arifin stated that the RPTRA is the last park built this year. There are total 13 RPTRAs in Central Jakarta. 

"Thanks to residents who have supported the park construction, it can eventually be used for all residents," he stated. 

Mawar RPTRA in Lebak Bulus Officially Inaugurated

On an 800-square-meter land, some facilities for residents will be built. The construction itself is using CSR from private side, but not City Budget (APBD). 

"I hope residents can maintain and keep the park properly for positive activities, moreover Johar Baru is categorized as a densely populated area and its interaction space is limited," he told. 

Johar Baru Sub-District Head Edy Suryaman added on the land, there is also community interaction building (GIM) will be equipped with some facilities such as library, kids playground, lactation room, etc. 

"The management will be handed over to community forum, leaders forum (LMK) and family welfare movement (PKK). There will also be PKK Mart to sell their hand creation," he explained. 

RW 13 Chairman, Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Didi uttered his side is thankful for the park construction. He hopes it could be useful for residents. "Hopefully, it'll be beneficial not only now but until next generation," he hoped.
