Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama acknowledged his party is reviewing the integrated bus network (APTB) bus' fare to reach Rp 3,500. It is aimed to attract private vehicle user to switch to public transport, thus traffic jam can be parsed.

Even, every employee who gets salary in accordance with Province Minimum Wage (UMP) will ride Transjakarta bus for free. It applies to the family.

It is also to encourage private vehicle user to switch to public transports. He plans to purchase thousands of buses next year.
"We will also sell daily, weekly, monthly, until yearly ticket. The concept is you have to pay Rp 7,000 per ticket and then will be free to ride the bus all day," he finished.
