Metromini Fleet's Grounded for Public's Safety, Basuki Says

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, asserted the policy to ground unroadworthy metromini fleets has become a final decision. This policy was taken as following accidents that involved metromini lately.

I just target unroadworthy one

Basuki stated that his party had already given second chance against metromini owner to fix their fleet. As they ignored the warning given, consequently, Jakarta Transportation Department now has intensified raids against unroadworthy fleet.

“They threat us by holding strike action instead of fix its fleet.  What a crook,” he said at City Hall, Monday (12/21).

Basuki admitted that his side will ground only unroadworthy fleets. “I just target unroadworthy one,” he asserted, Monday (12/21).
