Djarot Keeps Speeding Up Revitalization of Taman Ismail Marzuki

On Monday (12/21) night, Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat met with the management of Jakarta Arts and Culture Foundation Council, Rector of the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ) and Jakarta Taman Ismail Marzuki's Art Center Management Unit (PKJ TIM). The meeting discussed about the acceleration in revitalization of Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM).

TIM's Takeover Not Oriented to Commercial

As planned, the revitalization will restructure the management organization and develop several facilities in IKJ. Due to construction constrained, it is worried to experience postponement from schedule that was set in February 2017.

"The construction is expected to be complete in February 2017. But it is indeed experiencing stagnant," he expressed, Monday (12/21).

He explained, thus far, the project design has been completed.

“The design is marvelous. That’s why we want to push its construction to be realized as soon as possible in accordance with the target,” he finished.
