Internet Connection at Pisangan Timur's Health Center Interrupted

Internet connection at Pisangan Timur Urban Village's Community Health Service (Puskesmas) is often interrupted. Consequently, the process of new referral and patient's referral extension are little bit troubled, including primary care input and data finding of the Social Security Management Agency (BPJS).

Since December 18 ago, many data patients that have to be inputted through computer, because of the interruption, so we do it manually on daily service report

Head of Pisangan Timur's Health Center, Listya Pusparini stated that the interruption has been happening since almost 2 weeks ago. So, the patient data collection is done manually.

"Since December 18 ago, many data patients that have to be inputted through computer, because of the interruption, so we do it manually on daily service report. We got the manual format, but it will takes time," said Purparini, Monday (12/28).

According to her, it also causes some hospitals hesitant the referral letter. But after it is given a note that there is trouble connection, the related hospital then accept the patient.

"All online referral should be under control. If they can not be handled here, it's automatically referred, and the letter printed. There are some of hospital don't want to accept it if it's manual as they think it's fake," she explained.
