Djarot to Celebrate New Year's Eve in Festival Beach

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, ensured to attend in the New Year celebrations at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, Pademangan, North Jakarta. He hoped Jakartans to be orderly and not violate the rules and criminal acts when celebrating it.

"Mr. Ins. Gen. Tito Karnavian (Jakarta Police Chief) has reported and was been discussed in executive meeting about new year in Ancol. Ancol Direction has presented it by setting up stages on the coast of beach," he expressed, when he attended the Tactical Floor Game (TFG) training for new year security in Ancol, North Jakarta, Monday (12/28).

He mentioned, he was not in one stage with Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama when he attended new year activity in Ancol.

"Mr. Governor will depart by ship until Putri Duyung and transit in Bandar Jakarta. Along with Jakarta Police Chief, he will visit to Beach Carnaval that will be enlivened by Noah Band. Then me, will attend Beach Festival stage and enlivened by Wali Band. We want the event goes festive," he stated.

For security, Djarot continued, as many as 1,200 Satpol PP personnel will be prepared. Even, 150 wara-wiri buses are also planned to be prepared to serve people who celebrate the new year.

"Predictably, 200,000 visitors with 10,000 vehicles will flock to Ancol," he predicted.
