New Director, Basuki Wants Transjakarta Bus could Be Cleaner

With the new Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) named Budi Kaliwono, Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama is optimistic that Transjakarta can provide best service to the public. The important thing is about cleanliness.

Transjakarta Targets One Million Passengers Per Day"My expectation is, the entire route in Jakarta should be controlled by us thus Jakarta residents only pay Rp 3,500 to ride the bus and do not need pay for the next route," he expressed.
For short-term, he furthered, Kliwono must quickly analyze the performance of Transjakarta employees. He was given the authority to replace employees who could work better.
"He have to analyze manager from low level to be selected," he exclaimed.
While for metromini matters, Basuki believed the owner will join with Transjakarta soon.
"If not, they will go bankrupt. Just take it easy, the important thing is we can purchase the new fleet," he closed.
