Basuki Attends Fast Train Groundbreaking Today

Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama is attending
a groundbreaking for fast train development with route Jakarta-Bandung, in Walini, Bandung Barat, Thursday (1/21). The groundbreaking will officially conducted by Indonesian President, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo.Our priority now is fast train and Mass Rapid Transit (MRT)
Besides groundbreaking, at the same event, there is also economic centers development inaugurated with route Jakarta-Bandung. Previously Basuki postponed the Light Rail Transit (LRT) development, because there would be fast train development.

MRT project Remains PriorityThe train track is made along 142 kilometers from Jakarta to Bandung and will integrated to the MRT in Bandung Raya and LRT Greater Jakarta. It has spent Rp 70 trillion.
It is deemed able to present growth of a new business area or Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and help tackle the issue of transportation in Bandung and Greater Jakarta, in which its population reached 28 million people.
