Jakarta Governor Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo is going to fix the reception system of Jakarta Smart Card (KJP). The effort is conducted to respond the Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW)’s report that says 19.4 percent of KJP recipients are not right on target.

According to Jokowi, residents could suggest their neighbors to get KJP if the person needs it. But, it must be in accordance with the criteria and obey the existing mechanism.
“You could file for KJP and get it if you matched the criteria. If you are not and do coercion, that is not right and not following the mechanism,” he uttered.
Nevertheless, Jokowi understand if there were still KJP recipients that still not right on target. Even so, he refused if being said that his staffs were not working properly.
“The inspectorate is supervising 57,000 items of budget users. It is impossible to do it one by one, even though we have a lot of staffs,” he finished.
