The drilling for construction of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station has touched the Senayan Station.
The drilling machine has made a subway as long as 318 meters from Pemuda Senayan Statue until touching Senayan Station
PT MRT Jakarta Director, Dono Bustami said, until last December, the second Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) or popularly known as "Antareja II" has touched Senayan Station. Antareja II was firstly operated in Pemuda Senayan Statue on November 11, 2015.
"The drilling machine has made a subway as long as 318 meters from Pemuda Senayan Statue until touching Senayan Station," he told, Tuesday (1/26).
MRT project Remains PriorityAntareja II has the same specification with Antareja I, which is having a diameter of ± 6.7 meters with total long ± 43 meters and its weight ± 323 tons, starting cutterhead until backup cars.
This coincided with tunnel installation, is in form of precast pieces with width 1.5 meters.
