Prone to Flood, 34 Urban Villages Must Report Region Condition Every Day

Facing rainy season, as many as 34 urban villages affected flood are asked to be active conduct the checking. Because the peak of the rainy season, is predicted to happen on February 22.

Starting on February 12, the headman must already be active in reporting region condition at least 12 PM every day

"Starting on February 12, the headman must already be active in reporting region condition at least 12 PM every day," expressed Saefullah, City Secretary, on the sidelines of briefing related with anticipation at peak of rainy season this year, Thursday (1/28).

Additionally, the headman was also asked to monitor the conditions of rescue, health, logistic, infrastructure, education and community role before the flood.

"I ask them (headmen) not to take leave, and ensure all logistical ranging from public kitchen and its completeness are ready," he told.

Such policy is addressed to some urban villages. They are Petamburan, Semper Barat, Semper Timur, Sukapura, Pegangsaan Dua, Kapuk Muara, Pluit, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok, Warakas, Pademangan Barat, Cengkareng Barat, Duri Kosambi, Kapuk, Kedaung Kaliangke, Rawa Buaya, Jelambar Baru, Wijaya Kusuma, Tegal Alur, Pekojan, Kedoya Selatan, Kedoya Utara, Rawajati, Pengadegan, Bukit Duri, Manggarai, Ulujami, Cakung Timur, Bidara Cina, Kampung Melayu, Cawang, Cililitan, Cipinang Melayu and Makasar.
