Jakarta Dept. of Micro Small and Middle Cooperative and Trade (KUMKMP) together with Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) held sudden inspection to modern and traditional markets in Central Jakarta.
Eight of them contained formalin and borax
During the raid, the joint personnel found food contained dangerous ingredients.
“We took 53 samples from Pasar Baru Metro Atom. Eight of them contained formalin and borax,” said Ety Syartika, agency’s personnel, Thursday (2/4).
