Head of Food Security and Counseling Section for South Jakarta KPKP Sub-Department, Rigianto stated, as many as 50 samples taken including yellow noodles and tofus from 4 markets. Those markets are Cipete Utara, Lenteng Agung, Tebet Barat, and Santa Market.

"So the test is in Santa Market. We have taken samples for laboratory test of tofu and noodles containing of formalin," he explained, Tuesday (10/20).
Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the samples taken then tested using chemical liquid. In a short time, it can be known whether the food contains of formalin or not.
"One sample of tofus is found in Santa Market, one from Lenteng Agung Market and one sample tofu and noodle from Cipete Utara Market containing of formalin," he stated.
According to him, his side then summoned and warned the peddlers who are caught selling such foods. "We warned them, if they do it again, they will be handed over to police," he asserted.
