The dredging of Ria Rio dam, Kayu Putih Urban Village, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, is neglected. It is allegedly the fuel distribution harmed the project.

Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, there are seven heavy equipments at the scene. Those are six backhoe and one Water Master. Of seven backhoes, one of them can not be operated due to lost screen monitor, while other six backhoes are parked at the northern side.
Michael (27), one of operators, admitted that fuel distribution also hampered the project.
River and Dam Began to Be Dredged“It’s been two weeks we have no diesel fuel distribution. But we stay here everyday,” he said, Monday (2/8).
According to him, the fuel in the heavy equipments is used to turn on the engine only. If operated, the engine will go off.
