Jakarta Governor, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), asked the Regional Work Units (SKPD) to immediately implement the pre-planned development because the Jakarta Regional Budget reached Rp 72 trillion has been approved and disbursed since last March.

"It supposed to have started in January, but it had been approved by the council in October and in the beginning of March it just have been disbursed," said Jokowi at City Hall, Thursday (4/10).

That number one person in this city gathered the SKPD officials and reminded them to accelerate the development.

"If it is not reminded, they probably unaware if November comes then in December we’ll have the rainy season, as a result, we do the project in a hurry," said Jokowi.

This former of Surakarta Mayor added that the development plan has already been in the final phase and it just need the real implementation. After three months, evaluation and management control will be conducted and supervised by Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki T Purnama.
