"Based on Ministry Home's Regulation is set for land control to regional head, moreover it is green open space. It's very clear," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (2/22).

According to him, land grabbing by locals has been ongoing since 1998. Even, there were some agriculture lands from the government to them as arable land. It is aimed to help people's economy.

"After the reformation became euphoria, the whole empty lands are occupied. Long time ago, there was also a letter from the government to help people's economy so they can use the land for vegetable planting," he expressed.

He added, but now, the land has been rampant with illegal building. Hence, his party intends to take over the lands, such as green belt and so on.
