Park Dept Deploys Patrol Units to Safeguard Park Facilities

Regarding the destruction case of park benches installed on some roads in the capital city, Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Department is currently doing inventory. Based on recent data, 12 out of 524 park benches are broken and missing.

There are patrols every day, but this (park benches destruction) is still happening. Now, I ordered patrol officers to change patrol strategies by using intelligence system

“From those 12 park benches, four are missing from Senayan Gate 8, three benches, which installed around Sultan Hotel and previously broken, are being repaired in the warehouse, and five others that we thought missing turn out only being secured and now have been re-installed,” stated Head of Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Department, Nandar Sunandar, Wednesday (4/16).

According to Sunandar, due to lack of manpower, his department will deploy park patrol units to safeguard park facilities using intelligence system. He also has reported the destruction case to the police and has received a dossier.
