East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Cooperative, Micro Small Middle Enterprise and Trade (KUMKMP) targets retribution from street vendors (PKL) as much as Rp 1.5 billion. This year’s target is bigger compared to last year by Rp 900 million.

Arfian, agency’s head, admitted there are 2,750 PKLs under his management. They are spread into 51 temporary locations at 10 sub-districts. Mostly of them have paid retribution via Banl DKI.

“If the decree is already published, we hope they would pay retribution routinely Rp 3,000,” he said, Friday (3/18).

He is optimistic to be able to reach the target since more PKLs are added to his management.
