The management of Ragunan Zoo in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, predicts that the number of visitors will reach 80,000 during the Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri holiday and the collective leave period from June 5 to 9, 2025.

Ragunan Zoo Public Relations Head, Wahyudi Bambang, stated that the projection is based on last year's Eid al-Adha visitors, which reached around 40,000 people.

Wahyudi noted that as of this afternoon, Ragunan Zoo had recorded 4,538 visitors, with 411 purchasing tickets online and 4,127 offline.
Visitors arrived using various modes of transportation, including 75 bicycles, 544 motorcycles, 469 cars, and one tour bus.
"We predict that on the last day of Eid al-Adha collective leave today, the number of visitors will continue to increase as the weather remains clear," he added.
He also mentioned that the animals usually rest on Mondays, but this week, it will be rescheduled to Tuesday (6/10), following Ragunan Zoo's regulations.
"Although there is no animal rest day during national holidays or public holidays, we ensure that the animals' health is maintained by providing sufficient food and quality vitamins," he explained.
On the other hand, a visitor named Alwan Shadam (26) expressed that he chose to spend his holiday at Ragunan Zoo due to its easy accessibility and affordable prices.
"I'm from Cengkareng, West Jakarta. I was busy yesterday as part of the sacrificial committee, so today I can finally enjoy a small picnic here with friends. It's fun to see various animals," he said.
