In front of State Palace, traffic from Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur is diverted to Jalan Perwira-Jalan Pasar Baru and so on. Traffic from Jalan Veteran Raya is diverted to Harmoni and so on. Traffic from Jalan Hayam Wuruk is diverted to Jalan Juanda-Jalan Pasar Baru and so on.
