Formalined Tofu Peddlers in Jatinegara Market Sanctioned

The market management will summon the peddlers in Jatinegara Market, East Jakarta who sell formalined tofu. Besides warning letter, the management will give social sanction to them.

"I'll summon and give warning letter to them today. I still missed, where there was still found formalined foods in Jatinegara Market. Whereas, we have done anticipation," expressed Mat Ali Muhayar, Manager of Jatingera Market, Thursday (3/31).

Muahayar furthered, peddler stall will be attached with a sticker reads 'Positive selling dangerous food'. "This is for social sanction," he disclosed.

As for the information, Wednesday (3/30) yesterday, East Jakarta joint personnel managed to smell foods containing formalin sold in two stalls in Jatinegara Market.
