Easter Holiday, Ragunan Zoo Holds Animal Parade

Ragunan Zoo (TMR) celebrates this long weekend by holding Animal Parade. Some tamed animals are taken out from their cages to welcome the visitors who are currently enjoying Easter holiday.

Bambang hopes this Animal Parade would attract more people to visit Ragunan Zoo. “It is a promotion event to make visitors closer with the animals. We’re also inviting the residents to protect the conservation of rare animals,” he uttered.

Indeed, Ragunan Zoo is still one of Jakartans’ favorite recreational destinations to spend holiday together with family. The entrance ticket is very affordable, that is Rp 4,500 for adult and Rp 3,500 for child. With those prices, visitors can enjoy watching various animals, including the rare Sumatran Tigers and Sumatran Elephants which mostly viewed.

Siska (34), one of Ragunan Zoo visitors, admitted that she directly heading to Elephant Palace. “I directly heading here to the Elephant Palace because it is noon already,” she said.
