"We want to build Green Bay for fisherman, lower-income resident and street vendor," he disclosed, at City Hall, Monday (4/11).

He had refused a widening proposal for Nizam Zachman port, because his party wanted to clean up illegal building in Pluit Dam.

City Remains to Maintain Heksagonal Market

"In Muara Baru, will have a dam as high as 3.8 meters on the sea. Then underneath part, will have five meters high that will be widened to Nizam Zachman port. It's approximately 10-12 hectares," he told.

Basuki went on the say that Pasar Ikan, Luar Batang and Muara Baru will be integrated. They would be transformed into a Maritime Tourism. The city administration tries to restore the area function like the days of ancient Dutch.

"Pasar Ikan, Luar Batang must be integrated with Muara Baru. In underneath, there will be a warehouse as well as a store and a dwelling above it," he expressed.

He added that some state lands are occupied by citizens.

"The land is colonized by citizens. When we build the market, they control it by building a dwelling," he finished.
