Budget Items Locked, Head of Department Denied

Some of budget items of Public Works Department, and also Education Department are potentially to be non disbursed budget (Silpa). There are 10 budget items of Public Works Department have been locked likewise the activity.

Almost all items in city budget can be disbursed

According to beritajakarta.com observation, those 10 locked budget items are worth Rp 6.2 trillion. One of the items is Antasari - Blok M non toll road land inventory and acquisition continuation project Rp 10 billion.

Other locked budget items are consultant management fee to supervise task unit in 42 sub-districts Rp 500 billion, Angke pump system planning Rp 2.5 billion, and maintenance and operational stationer pump, mobile pump, water gates, and trash filter budget Rp 15.5 billion.

Next are trash filter maintenance and operational of inlet pump budget Rp 5 billion, coordination and relocation of networking utility budget Rp 300 million, office stationery for information technology technical unit ALKAL Rp 50 million.

Then, budget of laboratory test and measurement Rp 2.12 billion, East Flood Canal incident maintenance Rp 3 billion, and office stationery for information technology of Informatics Technology technical unit for Dept. of Public Works Rp 100 million.

Responding this matter, Jakarta Head Dept. of Public Works Manggas Rudy Siahaan admitted there are no locked budget items in city budget.

"Almost all items in city budget can be disbursed," he said, Monday (4/21).

His agency depends on Jakarta Procurement Service Unit especially for goods and service procurement. "We have to wait the unit run the system," he added.
