6 Traditional Markets Raided From Hazardous Chemicals

The East Jakarta food networking team is conducting raid against food containing contain hazardous chemicals today, Thursday (4/14). The raid involves about 60 joint personnel who spread at six traditional markets.

The officer will take 64 samples type agriculture, fishery and livestock products from those markets. All samples will be examined at Kramat Jati Market

Halimah, Head of Food Security Section for East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept said the six traditional markets are Kramat Jati, Cibubur, Ciplak, Ciracas, Jambul and Cijantung. For sample examination in laboratory, will be centered at Kramat Jati Market.

"The officer will take 64 samples type agriculture, fishery and livestock products from those markets. All samples will be examined at Kramat Jati Market," she told, Thursday (4/14).

In the raid, her side prepares three laboratories. They are fishery, agriculture and livestock. If it is needed, it will involve Jakarta BPOM's laboratory at the same market.

Until 9 AM, the officer is still taking sample in the market. This officer is from  Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept, Health Sub-dept, Communication, Informatic and Public Relation Sub-dept, Satpol PP, army/police and other units.
