Damaged Road in Rawa Badak Utara Ignored

Residents of Jalan Cibanteng IV Terusan, RT 004/08, Rawa Badak Utara (RBU) Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta, insisting government to suddenly repair the roads on their environment. Because, the road that was established in 1998, has broken since long time ago but there is no sign of reparation until this time.

They were insisting due to road condition has damaged badly and the road will be inundated if raining. "Hopefully the reparation of this road will soon be realized. We have been waiting for this," Suharhadi said, Headman of Rawa Badak Utara RW 08, Tuesday (4/22).

Suharyadi added, this road is the main access of residents to Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter and Jalan Cibanteng Raya. According to him, he has requested for road reparation to be included on National Development Planning Meeting (Musrembang). "Musrembang has done three times, but there is no response from government until now," he added.

Many Damaged Roads in East Jakarta Need Repair

Head of North Jakarta Sub-Dept. of Public Houses and Buildings, Ali Patta explained, before being repaired, the broken roads has been discussed through musrembang.

Ali stated, to submit the proposal, residents representative could come to Head Section of Houses and Buildings on each district. "The important is the residents willing to give clear information and willing to maintain what we repair together," he stated.
