Facing Asian Community, Students Must Master Foreign LanguagesIn that occasion, Jokowi gives quiz to the students. The students who can answer his questions get bags that contain two books, two pens, and a box food.
“Who is Jakarta governor? Who is vice Jakarta governor?” asked Jokowi to the students who instantly scrambled answering his questions.
According to Jokowi, the process of teaching and learning can also be done outside the classroom, such as in the zoo, museum, bank, factory, or even the City Hall.
“Don’t just learn in the classroom. Subject like plants can be studied in botanical garden, or history in the museum. Thus, kids will be happy and not monotonic. Learning becomes something that is not boring,” he uttered.
