Strong Wind, Plafond in West Jakarta State Court Collapsed

Heavy rain and strong wind on Tuesday (4/22) afternoon has made plafond in main lobby and Kusuma Admaja courtroom of West Jakarta State Court (PN) building collapsed. The incident had caused panic to the visitors. But luckily, there was no casualty in that incident.

Due to the collapsed plafond, West Jakarta PN visitors panic and ran scrambled outside the building to save themselves

                              

Hendra (45), an eyewitness, said the incident happened around 4.15 PM. The collapsed plafond, which made from gypsum, broke the glass windows in Kusuma courtroom and main lobby.

β€œDue to the collapsed plafond, West Jakarta PN visitors panic and ran scrambled outside the building to save themselves,” he told, Tuesday (4/22).

No official in West Jakarta PN was willing to give information about this incident.

Meanwhile, hail happened in RW 05, Merayu Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-District. Even though it only occurred in about five minutes, the incident had made the residents shocked due to the loud rattling sound just like big rocks striking the house down.

β€œThe ice sized like gravel, so it made the residents panic and some of them scrambled outside their houses. But when they knew it was only a hail, they went back into their houses,” stated Setiawan, a resident who lives on Jalan Jomas, RW 05 Merayu Utara.
