Seribu Islands Regency Administration is about to build a wave breaker in nine residential islands. Based on the latest information, the regent has signed work contrack with the contractor winning bidder.
According to Tiur Maeda Hutapea, Head of Seribu Islands Environmental Inspection Office (KPLH), prior to contruction, the developer was asked to manage the environmental impact analysis (amdal) in order to protect the sea ecosystem.

Those nine islands are Panggang, Pramuka, Kelapa, Karya, Kelapa Dua, Harapan, Lancang, Tidung and Untung Jawa.
